FLOWERS FOR FREEDOM
As a way of multiplying our collective blessings and abundance, Paraluman is dedicated to supporting organizations working towards kalayaan/freedom. Each piece will have a set retail price, but clients can choose to offer more if they please. All exceeding funds from the month will be collected and thoughtfully donated to an organization we love. Flowers For Freedom is our way of enticing generosity through the transcendent quality of beauty.
So far we have donated to the following organizations:
Black Legal Action Centre
BLAC delivers legal aid services to low and no income Black Ontarians. We work to combat individual and systemic anti-Black racism by:
- providing legal representation, summary legal advice and brief services to individual clients
- engaging in test case litigation, law reform and community development to improve the laws that affect low income people
- giving public legal information sessions to members of the public and other community agencies.

Sabokahan works for the emancipation of lumad women from feudal and patriarchal traditions and practices. At the regional level, it represents the issues of lumad women in Mindanao. Sabokahan empowers lumad women through education, organizing, mobilization, capacity building, and community development work addressing economic and social injustices.

The Pineapple Lab Micro-Grant is designed as a peer to peer grant program where artists who were previously selected to get funding may nominate fellow artists to receive support. Awarding of the grants are given based on donations and availability of funds.
